Harlem Fine Arts Show 2016 in Chicago
This Friday night I’ve got just the event you should attend. The Harlem Fine Arts Show is making its stop in Chicago this weekend and on Friday, December 9th it all kicks off with an opening night gala! In case you are not familiar with the Harlem Fine Arts Show, it is the largest traveling African Diasporic art show in the U.S. HFAS brings people from different walks of life together to not only celebrate the arts of the African Diaspora but it has also created opportunities for economic empowerment within the mulitcultural community.
During the opening night gala you will enjoy beautiful art, meaningful conversations with artist interactions, live music and of course drinks and hors d’oeuvres. While there I highly encourage you to visit COUNTRY Financial‘s booth where local Chicago artist Martha Wade will create a piece of artwork in real time! COUNTRY Financial is a proud sponsor of the HFAS and is committed to supporting and empowering local communities along with their commitment to helping people understand the art of financial literacy.
Tickets for Friday’s gala can be purchased here and be sure to visit the HFAS website to learn more. Lastly, as an added treat the piece created by artist Martha Wade at COUNTRY Financial’s booth will be given away to a randomly selected guest. You don’t want to miss this so be sure to stop by between 6:00-8:00pm for your chance to take home an original piece of art. I hope to see you there!
