Rachel Roy’s Brazil-Inspired Collection

  • If you didn’t already know, Rachel Roy is one of my favorite designers. I’ve been following her career for quite some time now and have loved watching her evolution. It also doesn’t hurt that I’ve met her a few times and every single time she was so gracious and friendly and I felt like I was gabbing with an old girlfriend.

    Rachel currently has a new collaboration for her RACHEL Rachel Roy line with Brazilian musician Seu Jorge. She took an inspiration trip to Brazil to explore and work with Seu Jorge.

    Rachel states, “one of the my favorite things about designing is being able to collaborate with different artists to create interesting ideas and products. I like to collaborate with people that are amazing at what they do in areas that I want to learn about and grow in.“

    What was birthed was a new beachy/hippie vibe collection for the summer! Check out this behind the scenes video of Rachel’s trip:

    I’m obsessed with Rachel Roy! I’m always first to grab her stuff whenever it comes into Crossroads, haha! I love the new collection as well, she’s so awesome! Jealous that you’ve met her before, lol :)

    Good to know we share the same sentiments about Rachel! I’m gonna have to come try to intercept those Rachel Roy findings at Crossroads, I love that place! Definitely becoming one of my favorite Chi town haunts :)
