What I’m Rockin’: One Shirt, Three Ways
-
It’s been a while since I’ve done a What I’m Rockin’ post so this one is chock full of 3 looks! I recently purchased this button down creamish top from local boutique Dovetail and I just can’t get enough of it. Take a look at how I styled it 3 ways!
1. Preppy
Forever 21 sweater, jeans and backpack | Thrifted necklace | Glasses USA specs in U 46 Black | Skagen watch | TJ Maxx shoes | OPI‘s Need Sunglasses? on nailsFor this look I put the top under an old sweater I’ve had for eons. And when I say old I mean, o-l-d! I chose this sweater because it’s lightweight and it’s also not bulky, so it doesn’t add extra volume to my small frame. The star of this look is most definitely the necklace which was a vintage find while I was in NY a couple of years ago. One of my favorite pieces.
2. Casual
Wet Seal jeans | Found Objects earrings | Bakers (c/o) sandals | ??? cuff | Persol sunglassesI actually wore this look when I hosted Bakers State St. grand opening last month. I love the brightness of the yellow pants which are very on trend right now. You should definitely grab a pair of colored denim to add to your wardrobe this summer! The earrings (by local designer Found Objects) I am in love with especially because of the orange/peach color–so fun!
3. Sassy
H&M shorts | AJWright sandals | Cynthia Rowley purse | Pixel ♥ Pixel necklace | Bangles worn as hoop earringsSince the weather is heating up now I decided to show a little leg. Well, a lot of leg in these fuchsia shorts. I like that my top is breezy and flowy, I think it pairs well with the fitted shorts. The necklace is a favorite of mine for this look. It’s by Pixel ♥ Pixel out of Germany. I clearly have an affinity for very unique accessories! They’re a great way to give your look that extra kick.
I always recommend “shopping your closet” if you’re on a budget. Look at pieces in a different way and try something new. It may be a challenge but trust that you can do it. You’d be surprised what you come up with just a little creativity and confidence!
So what’d you guys think of my looks? Let me know in the comments!
Also, be sure to come back and check out tomorrow’s post for my 3rd installment of the Sassy Peach Style Guide. I’ll be sharing how to get similar looks like mine–one shirt, three ways!
