Happy new week peaches! Hope yours is off to a swell start. I’m starting mine by telling you all about Drapes designer Ashley Scott’s trunk show. It was held at vintage boutique Dovetail which is now my new favorite place to shop.

Ashley’s new Valiant Life pieces are just the beginning of lots of new goodies she’s working on. I love this girl and her work so I cannot wait to see what else she’s up to. The new handmade accessories are truly unique and definite conversation sparkers. They evoke a feminine appeal with a dose of edginess which is the perfect combination in my opinion. Ashley not only designs earrings but also necklaces as well. The yellow fringe statement necklace has my name written all over it.
After perusing Ashley’s new line I explored Dovetail itself more and I loved everything about it. Dovetail is a well-edited store offering vintage clothing, shoes, accessories (a ton!) for both men and women and a few pieces for the home. I wanted just about every accessory they had in the store. I finally got around to checking out the women’s clothing and I grabbed a button-down top that I needed to perfect my look for Saturday’s hosting duties! (Pics and a full recap to come)
