Brunch with EDEN Hits Chicago
On Saturday, March 17th I attended EDEN BodyWorks‘ Brunch with EDEN luncheon at the beautiful W Hotel on Lakeshore Drive. I was honored to be invited to this private and intimate affair and in the company of such amazing and influential women. EDEN hosted us to give us an early, exclusive peak at their new JojOba Monoi collection.
With an affordable price point of $8.99-$9.99, EDEN’s new JojOba Monoi collection includes five offerings: JojOba Shampoo, JojOba Conditioner, JojOba Deep Conditioner, JojOba Hair Milk and the JojOba Hair Oil. The collection is specially designed to keep all hair types beautiful, strong and healthy whether you’re natural, chemically relaxed or color-treated. The collection is available online and in select Walmart stores nationwide.
After some mingling and chit-chatting Ylorie Anderson began the event by sharing the background on EDEN’s story. As we nibbled on delicious eats and drinks, Trichologist Dr. Kari Williams taught us about each product in the Monoi collection and how to use the products in our hair. We were then able to pick her brain on all things hair and hair health.
Since I have now taken my senegalese twists down I’m back to my natural, straight hair in a cute little bob. After the long braid take-down process my hair was singing its praises when I used the JojOba Monoi products. My hair was moisturized, soft, squeaky clean and smelled divine! My favorite from the line is the hair oil. It’s light and airy on my hair and doesn’t weigh it down nor does it have a sticky consistency as some hair oil sprays tend to have. I plan to use the hair milk before I style my hair in the mornings as my daily moisturizer.
I had such a great time at the brunch and would like to thank Ylorie Anderson, Renae Bluitt of Crush Media and the rest of the EDEN BodyWorks team for such a great event! Keep up with EDEN on Facebook and Twitter. And stay tuned to TSP for a breakdown of what I wore in my next ‘What I’m Rockin’” post. You know I just have to fill you in on that, right?
