What I’m Rockin’
-
Macy’s necklace | Thrifted earrings | H&M top | Forever 21 faux fur vest | Gap 1969 jeans | Kenneth Cole booties | Hobo Intl bag
I have to say this faux fur vest is one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I find myself trying not to wear it so much. Not only is it a great layering piece for fall and winter, but it’s also super chic.
My bag is by Hobo Intl and when I tell you this thing can handle and hold anything I mean it. I tend to throw just about anything and everything in my purse so this is the first one I grab when I know I’ve got a lot to carry. Not to mention it’s also so pretty! What girl doesn’t love a gorg bag?
The booties I just can’t get enough of. I’ve been wearing the heck out of them. They were a major Marshalls (Kenneth Cole, $49.99) score and as soon as I laid eyes on them I knew I had to have them. Every time I wear them I get no less than 5 or 6 compliments on them, so that validates my choice! Do you ever feel like that when you wear some things? Like, hey I’m getting a ton of “likes” on this, kudos to me!
While writing this post I had to have a moment of silence for the vintage earrings I’m wearing. I lost one on the street and it is now sadly gone forever. I wore them just about everyday! Once I realized one was no longer on my ear I went back to where it may have fallen off, but had no luck. Heart. broken. They were a thrifting score from Housing Works in New York and now they’re a goner. The other one just looks so lonely now! Any ideas on what to do with just one earring? Le sigh.
This outfit is chock full of some of my favorite things. What are some favorites you just can’t stop rockin’? Or if you happen to know of a support group for people who’ve lost their favorite things–let me know in the comments!

Hey girl!
About the missing earring, I *hate* when that happens so I definitely feel your pain, especially when they are more or less one of a kind.
So, how about mixing and matching two earrings that have lost their other half and pairing them together! I’m sure you can pull it off. It works best when one is really funky and the other not as much but they both complement your outfit perfectly so it looks very intentional and purposeful.
Keep posting girl! I likes!
Such a cool suggestion on mixing and matching two earrings that don’t match. I literally put my finger to my chin thinking that I just might try that lol! I’d like to think I can pull something like that off, so we’ll see! And thanks a lot, glad you like my posts!
Hey girl! I’m new to your site and I’m absolutely loving it
You are gorgeous and I love love love your hair! I totally feel your pain about losing an earring, I’ve had that happen to me tons. I like Xtina’s idea about mixing and matching with other earrings, if you’re feeling crafty you could always try making the lone survivor into a ring or some type of brooch. I’m not so sure how to go about doing that, but I think it’d be pretty sweet in the end
Keep up the posts!

Hi Ashlei! Thanks for checking out TSP, so glad you love it! You and Xtina are very resourceful ladies, I’m loving both of your ideas. Making the earring into a ring or brooch is really cool as well b/c I would definitely rock that. Gonna have to look into that for sure!
