What I’m Rockin’
-
Back at it Sassy Peach readers! Sorry about not having any new posts for a while. I had quite the crazy week so I’m happy to get back into my groove.
Got another outfit post here, I’m a little behind so I’ll be rolling a few of them out this week. I’ve been trying very hard lately to look at my closet in a more positive light instead of always saying I have nothing to wear. I’m re-working things I already have in my wardrobe, putting things together that I never have before and working on being more creative. You don’t know until you try, so I encourage you to do the same!
Kenneth Cole jacket | H&M dress | Forever 21 tights | Kenneth Cole Reaction booties | Thrifted earrings | TwittaBling “@thesassypeach” necklace | Kenneth Jay Lane peach necklaceI call this dress my “Flintstones” dress because the print reminds me of The Flintstones cartoon. Pairing it with my leather jacket and tights helped “winterize” it. Winterizing my spring/summer pieces is something I’ve been playing around with for a while now. You don’t have to necessarily say goodbye to your coveted warm weather wardrobe. Play around with blazers, leather jackets, tights and boots to make it a fresh new look for the colder season!
Have you tried “winterizing” your wardrobe?

I am constantly “winterizing” my wardrobe….I dont even know if I fully agree with shopping specifically for the winter! So I tend to layer like crazy! SO I love the idea of wearing a dress and making the stockings do all of the warming work

That’s great to hear. I’m the same way with layering and definitely adding plenty of tights to my ‘fits.
