What I’m Rockin’

  • Happy New Year Sassy Peach readers! I hope your holiday was great! We’re kicking off 2012 here at The Sassy Peach with a new outfit post shot by none other than Chuckstr Photography.

    This is kind of an everyday casual look for me. At the time the temps weren’t as chilly as they are now so I could sort of get away with just my gray leather and my infinity scarf which I absolutely adore in the fall and winter seasons.

    The jeans I’m wearing are new by DL1961 and let me tell you they are THE softest jeans I’ve ever felt. They feel so, so good and are very stretchy which I love. If I could do the splits I would have no problem doing them in these ever so comfortable jeans. The awesome stretching ability is thanks to XFIT LYCRA fabrics that allow the jeans to stretch and recover with no problem-o. Now, I’m 5’2″ so as you can probably tell the jeans are extra long for someone of my height. I love the zipper detail at the ankle. It reminds me of my jeans when I was a kid in the 80s. Nice throwback appeal!

    Has that hot pink purse caught your eye yet? Well if you’re ogling over it just like I did when I saw it then you should know it’s by awesome designer Rebecca Minkoff. I actually won this Mini M.A.C. in her Mini M.A.C. giveaway and I was so thrilled! I’ve always loved Rebecca Minkoff handbags and accessories, so if you’re not familiar definitely check out all she has to offer. Guys you can too with her Ben Minkoff designs. You’ll love it!

    My shoes are actually an original design by yours truly. Peep the peach heel? ;) I’ll have to do a separate post about the drama with these shoes and company maybe to fill you all in. I always get stares and compliments when I wear them so I think I might be on to something! Shoe design collab, perhaps? These are called the “Daphne” and unfortunately you can’t buy your own, but maybe one day! Do you like ‘em?

    Love the boots.

    A casual day for me is jeans or leggings with a some kind of pullover sweater or tunic. Since I’m a mom now and carrying a baby around most of the time, I wear flats but I prefer to be in fabulous heels. :)
